Our Story

We didn't set out to build an AI optimization company. We set out to help e-commerce stores grow. The AI part found us.

The Agency Years

We started as a full-service digital agency. Whatever our clients needed, we figured it out. Email marketing for a jewelry brand. PPC for a coffee roaster. Web development for a video game reseller. Operational efficiency for an enterprise waste management company.

Jewelry to waste management. That was the range.

We were the team you called when you needed digital work done and didn't want to manage five different vendors. For years, that's what we did. We got good at it.

The Discovery

Then our e-commerce clients started hitting a wall.

Growth was flattening. They thought they'd reached market saturation. We knew that wasn't true. Unless you're a global monopoly, you don't exhaust a market. You exhaust your own ideas.

The problem was that clients wanted new results but didn't want new risks. They wouldn't try anything unconventional on Facebook or Google. They just wanted us to optimize harder on channels that were already maxed out.

So we started experimenting with something else: optimizing their stores for AI.

Not for Google. For ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini. The places where people were comparing products, researching options, figuring out where to buy.

We made sure our clients' products, pricing, inventory, and promotions were accurate and readable to AI. And AI rewarded that accuracy. It started recommending them. Quoting their real prices. Sending traffic their way instead of to competitors.

Conversion rates climbed. Server costs dropped because AI bots were crawling more efficiently. We saw traffic bumps we couldn't attribute to any traditional channel.

When we showed the clients the numbers, their response was simple: "Whatever you're doing, keep doing it."

The Pivot

We realized most of our spare time was going into AI optimization. The returns were too high to ignore.

That sparked a question: why not make this its own thing?

Here's what we understood. Most e-commerce stores already have agencies. They have retainer agreements they don't want to break, even if they're not fully satisfied. Asking them to switch everything to us wasn't realistic. And we didn't want to be another full-service agency fighting for the same contracts.

So we built something different. A supplementary service. We don't touch your ads. We don't replace your current agency. We add a layer. The AI layer.

Your existing setup stays intact. We just make sure AI can read it.

The Founders

Now you should probably know who "we" actually are.

I'm Emre. I handle the creative side, the strategy, and the sales. I'm the one you'll talk to when you book a call.

My co-founder is Ekin. He's the engineer. He runs the optimization specialists and handles the finances. If something is broken, he wants to fix it. That's just how his brain works.

We met in 2016 through a mutual friend. I was young, naive, chasing some startup idea I had no technical skills to build. Someone introduced me to Ekin, saying he was "that guy who does development stuff."

I had no money to offer him. Turned out he wasn't interested in money anyway. He was interested in the problem. That told me everything I needed to know about who I was working with.

The project never went anywhere. Didn't even see daylight. But it earned me my closest friend.

Since then, we've worked on each other's projects, built things on the side while holding down other jobs, and eventually asked the obvious question: why are we doing this for other people when we could do it together?

The Hard Years

That question came to a head in 2022.

I had just left a job that was destroying my health. The details don't matter. What matters is that I walked away knowing I never wanted to work like that again.

Ekin and I decided to go all in on what we'd been building on the side for years. We had a small team. We had clients who kept coming back. We had something real.

Then Turkey's economy collapsed.

Between 2021 and now, our country went through one of its worst economic crises in decades. Most of our team lives in Turkey. Our job became protecting them.

We didn't do marketing. We didn't chase PR. We focused on client work and keeping our people employed. Every single person on our team made it through. We didn't lose anyone.

That's why you haven't heard of us. We were busy surviving, together.

How We Work

We run this company differently than most.

We don't believe in "company culture" as a performance. We don't have values painted on a wall. Our company is just part of our lives. We work during the day, play video games together in the evening, take holidays together. We fight hard, but we say it to each other's faces.

We have one rule: do the job correctly. That's it. We don't babysit. We only hire people we'd be happy to have in our personal lives.

We don't chase aggressive growth. Everyone here has a number in their head. A "happy money" line. Enough to live well, take care of family, not stress about bills. We're trying to reach that line together. Not blow past it at any cost.

When we need more capacity, we optimize our processes first. We never take on clients just to fill a backlog we can't clear. Nobody here wants to grow so fast that work stops being good.

Work fits into life. Not the other way around.

The Proof

We can't show you most of our work. NDAs protect our clients, and we honor that.

But we can tell you this.

We've worked with over 50 clients since we started. Most found us through word of mouth. They stayed because the work was good, and many still send us tasks to this day.

In 2020 and 2021, Ekin and I hosted a podcast called Büyübozumu. 24 episodes about running sustainable, non-greedy businesses. It's in Turkish, so you probably can't listen. But the ideas we talked about then are the same ones we run Wildmagic on now.

In 2022, Email on Acid interviewed me about an interactive email project I built. I've spent years in email marketing, marketing automation, and conversion optimization. That expertise didn't disappear when we pivoted to AI. It's the foundation we build on.

And our team? They're ruthless testers. They love the game. AI evolves, we evolve to catch it, AI evolves again. It never stops. Most people would find that exhausting. Our specialists find it fun. That's why they're good at it.

Why Now

So why now? Why Wildmagic?

Because we're ready.

We made it through the hard years. Our team is intact. Our clients are taken care of. And we've been watching AI change how people find and buy products.

This isn't a bet on something that might matter. It already matters. AI is answering questions about your store right now. The only question is whether it's getting the answers right.

Wildmagic is our answer to that. Everything we learned from years of full-service work, compressed into one thing we do better than anyone: making sure AI understands your store.

If you've read this far, you know who we are. If that sounds like a team you want to work with, book a call. I'll show you what AI actually says about your store. No pitch, no pressure. Just the truth.
